Balancing Act From Jessica D.

I never thought it would be so hard to balance working full time and being a good parent. It has taken me a few years to get the basics down and now i feel like i have a grip some what on doing both. My tips are put yourself first if you cant take care of your self and you are not happy; well then how are you going to take care of your children and make them happy. Also i have come to be ok with being silly. I have noticed that the sillyer i am the happier and sillyer my children are.
What are some of your stories of how you balance working and being a parent. Also tips for new moms who may be want to go to work but dont know how they will do both and be good at both?

Hi i am new to this website. I know it says that it is for single moms but i am a single dad of a beautiful little girl and i need to find her more children her age to play with. Not very many of my close friends have kids and those that do live pretty far away. I have strollers and everything she needs to go out and play now i just need to find more parents with children around her age. She will be two yrs old in august. If someone can message me back i would really appreciate it. I am starting school again at C.O.C.C and hope to provide my daughter with a better life then i ever had growing up. Well anyway like i said plz message me if anyone has kids around that age that want to form a playgroup or something.

Hello,
Am new to the group, but am looking for some play friends for my son, he just turned three on Monday. We live in NW Redmond and like to go to the park, ride bikes, play playdough, any kind of sport and also do crafts. Is anyone interested in getting a fairly regular playgroup together? Thanks!
