Come join the Upper West Side-Central Park play group!

As a stay at home mother of a 16-month old, I'm starting a play group with children ages 12-months-ish to 20-months-ish on the Upper West Side of Central Park. I say "ish" because only you know if you and your child are ready to join a play group based on readiness, not age!

Ideally, meet-ups will be two to three times a week for about an hour -- or whenever the session ends organically, not when some bell rings like those classes! On rainy days we can opt out or meet at someone's home. It'd be great if we're all SAHMs, but it's not mandatory....

...What IS mandatory is that your child is beginning to understand boundaries and when someone says the word "No!". So yeah, if your child kicks, hits, or screams, and is otherwise a brat, more corrective action is required and you may want to hold off joining this group for now!

Since this is supposed to be fun, activities may or may not include singing, guided play, and free time for independent play. Bring snacks and drinks for you and your child and administer as needed!
