I created this group mainly for the younger mothers in Topeka like myself.
My name is Ashley Araiza (uh-rize-uh) and I am twenty years old with an eleven month old daughter. I was born here in Topeka but moved to Iowa when I was thirteen and returned just over a year ago. With Working part time, and being a stay at home mom during the day while my boyfriend is out it has been hard to meet people with the same intrests and age as myself that have kids. I `am hopeing that will change by making this group. First I'd just like an idea of all the mommies [daddies are welcome too] whom are interested and what times would be best for setting up play dates. Please let me know!

My name is Michelle and I have an almost 2 year old (he will be 2, August 30th). I will be 20 in a few weeks. I am actually a single mom. Im currently looking for a job but I go to school full-time at Washburn. Since my son does not go to daycare, he does not get interaction with any other kids and he is just BORED at home. Hard to believe with all the toys we have but he is. I would be interested in play dates. I found this site by just browsing on google looking for different stuff for my son to do. :)

I'm interested! I'm 22, with a 1 1/2 year old... I'm new to Kansas, sorta... I moved here 2 weeks before my daughter was born from California, so I haven't gotten to get out and meet new people. I'm a stay at home mom and bored out of my mind the majority of the time, and I'm sure my poor daughter is too! I'm free for playdates anytime!! If you can let me know when and where they are, i would LOVE to meet up.. especially since it's for younger moms!
