I am VERY interested in meeting with my son for a playgroup in Summit. Unfortunately Wednesdays are the worst for me. Would you like to change the date or add another? Maybe I can start an early evening/late afternoon group? Let me know what you think. I have one son who is 19 months old and we recently just moved back to Summit County and would love to make new friends...

Was wondering what the plans were for the next play date and if it was still for Thursday 10/28.
Also what are the ages of your tots? My little guy Jack is 23 months.

So cool! My son, Baryn, is 22 months! He will be 2 on Nov 23. How about your son? Are you new to the county? The few girls/moms I have met recently, and I, all seem to keep in touch more on facebook, so I made a group called "Summit County, CO Moms". Look us up there and keep in touch. Would love to meet you and your son! We started having a regular playdate every Tuesday. We will probably change the time a little bit and rotate people houses/locations each week. Last week was my house in ST at 11am. I will let you know what time and place for this Tuesday when I find out. We also meet at the park a lot by the ST rec center. Here is my info, so you can keep in touch. Hope to talk with you again soon!

I am relocating to Summit county in May for a job promotion. I have a 5yr old and 18month old. Was hoping to find a playgroup.We wont know anyone :(

Hi Geneva! Welcome to Summit County, Colorado! Where are you from? Coming from? I rarely get on this site anymore, as I only had 2 people respond to the group for a long time. BUT, check out the 2 Mom's groups on facebook... more people use those. Feel free to contact me anytime via email or phone or text if you need any help, advice, info, whatever. I am more than willing to help if you need anything! :) What town will you be living in? I used to live in Breck for many years, but when we bought a house, we bought in Silverthorne. We LOVE Silverthorne, especially in the summers! As for playgroups, seems like it has been somewhat difficult around Summit b/c so many people move in and out of the county so often. I used to host one, but it was difficult to keep it going. There is a playgroup hosted by the town of Frisco, every Tuesday at the commons buildings, next to the Frisco Library. It is frmo 9:30-11:30am. That would be a great place to start, especially with your 18-month old. I just have a 3 year old son, and he is always the oldest one there, but I still go occasionally. Mostly babiies and 1's and 2's. I take my son to diffierent parks and over to Keystone a lot, so maybe we can meet up sometime for a playdate there! Stay in touch and I look forward to meeting you sometime!

thanks for your response. I am from California. Central San Joaquin valley, mostly agricultural community( Porterville, CA). Tuesday we begin our adventure to colorado. I will be taking over as the Personnel Cordinator for the Frisco Walmart. I am married with two girls (5yr old & 18month old). I checked out Facebook and requested into a frisco mom's group but I could tell if it was Frisco, Colorado. (just my luck it's Frisco Texas!) I did see the scheduled play group in Frisco. I'm sure I will make some connections. We are going to be staying in Wilderness, if it's okay I will definitely give you a call and you can give me the insider tips on the area. I still havent named a Pediatrician and we are looking into 1/2 day daycare service as well. Thanks again for the response.
