Hello! Welcome to St Charles Kiddos! I can't wait to set up the first play date! Please take a moment to tell us about yourself. My name is Robin. I have a 2 year old son and run an in-home daycare. I started this group because I have had a hard time finding a playgroup in my area that doesn't only meet during the day.

my names Tiffany I have a 2 yr old son Nathaniel and a 1 yr old daughter Emma-Lynn, i was wondering how a playgroup works if you have any activities set up and basically how the whole process works. i dont know anyone in the area with kids around the same age as mine.

Tiffany, welcome! This is the first one I have organized. For right now we are just going to meet and let the kids play and the adults get to know each other. I do hope to plan activities in the future and do all kinds of fun events. I hope you can make it out this Sat! I plan to talk with everyone who can make it out about what types of things they would like to do and what days work best. We will not do things during the day as I am a working Mom. However I do know some stay at home Moms that I can introduce you to if you are a stay at home Mom. There will be kids there this Sat that are around both of your kids ages. Do you think u can make it? It's at 3:00 at the park on Mexico by the rec plex

Hi! I just joined & wanted to know if anyone is still involved in this group since I can't find any discussions since May. ? I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and just wondering if anyone is getting out & about during this beautiful Fall weather (that feels like a mild summer!). I work during the week but open early evenings and weekends. Also, are outings open to both parents or is this mostly a mommies group? Want to know what to tell the hubby. :-) Thanks!

Hi Kristin, I joined not long ago either and was wondering the same thing. My son is going to be 3 Sunday and we are looking for some playdates as well. He is going to start at a preschool Monday but will be home Wednesdays. When you mentioned your work are you saying your available during the day? Maybe we can set something up.

Thanks for the reply! I work days M-F so we are available for after dinner/events including dinner during the week & anytime on weekends. When are you usually available? And Happy Birthday to your son tomorrow! Hope it's fun!!
