We live in Hayes Valley. I am a 40yr old mom of a 4.5yr old Daughter. We frequent Hayes Valley Park (new one), Alamo Square, Patricia's Green and Koshland, just because it's walking distance from our home. She LOVES GG Park! We also like to go to Crissy Field in the morning, take a walk on the beach, have coffee/bagel at the cafe right there on the beach and then play in the sand until lunch time. There is also that amazing park in Marina that I have yet to try, it is on my list of to do's this coming week. Some days we pack a lunch, my daughter loves to have "picnics" and we find a spot on the beach to set up. I just moved here from NY in Jan. Finding it a little difficult to find other stay at home moms or working. I see A LOT of nannies in the park, unfortunately they aren't necessarily there to make friends like I am ;) Soon enough I will no longer be a stay at home mom! I am having one heck of a time finding my DD a spot in pre-k, they fill up rather quickly! I am working on Kindergarten now, as suggested by school officials. So, if you would like to get together, please let me know!!!! Kristie
