Hello there,
I am a 30 year old SAHM who is looking to create a small play group where the moms can get to know each other fairly well and the kids can have a good time. I tried some of the other play groups out there and they seemed kind of impersonal (but maybe I haven't found the right one yet!). Anyways, I figured it was worth a shot to see if I could get something going in my neck of the woods. I live in the Clairemont area but am open to meeting in other parts of town that rent too much of a drive. If anyone is interested in getting something together, let me know.
I also have an amazing fall family portrait special for November: $125 for a 30 min. location session (Scripps Ranch area) and 1 8x10 file. Beach session available if you coordinate with 3 families to do back to back sessions on the same day.

Sounds like we have a lot in common. My daughter is 28 months and I am pregnant with baby #2. My hubby is active duty. I am looking to set up a play date for my little one too. I am leaving this week to go back to KY for a visit (hometown) but will be back in early Dec. Maybe we can get the girls together then? What branch are you or your hubby in? Mine is NSW. It can be crazy at times. Let me know if you want to get together some time.

I am also in somewhat the same position. I have a 2 year old son Noah and 4 month old daughter Shiloh. I have tried joining a friends meetup but have not found a good fit either. I am interested in getting together for playdates and a little adult interaction. I live in Clairemont and would love to get together when you guys are available.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier (Jennifer and Peter) my little one is down with a bit of a cold. But seeing as to how we all live in the same area it looks as if we have a good start to a play group here. Would you all like to try to meet up sometime next week? Balboa Park puts on puppet shows during the week at various times, it might be fun to take the kids over there and then they can run around a bit at the park. I would love for my little one to have some kiddos around the area that she can play with. replyI am a military spouse and SAHM as well. My daughter is 29 months, I am always looking for other moms with kiddos around my daughters age as well for her to play with. If you all want to meet up at one of the local parks next week so the girls can play, let me know. I am also 6 months preggers with my second kiddo so I would love to pick your brain about tips on transition from 1 kiddo to 2! I have so many questions!

Well I would love to talk to you and meet your little one! I'm hoping that I will be able to go to the playdate on the 25th but might be in a bit of a time crunch so we will see how it goes. Let me tell you one thing though, sleep deprivation with a newborn and toddler makes everything become hard work! Hope to see you soon!
