Hi there! I am a stay-at-home mom in New Bern, looking for a playgroup for my son, who is 10 months old. Looking for parents to get together at a park, etc, especially when my guy starts walking, which I assume will be in a month or two.

I've been in New Bern since Nov and I'm looking to make some new friends. I'm 25 and a SAHM to two little girls. My husband is a Marine and stationed at Cherry point

Hi Kimberly, I'm glad that you joined, though this group hasn't really taken off. I have joined a couple other groups- one that I have just recently become involved in is on www.meetup.com, it's called "Newbie parents". It was started by a mom in New Bern (Havelock). I have gone to one meetup earlier this week and met a couple of the moms, and they are having a playdate tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:30am. You should check the group out!!

How old are your girls?? I have a 2 year old son and a daughter that will turn 1 year old in a couple weeks. I also moved here not too long ago, in August. I am just starting to meet other families (finally!) and would love to meet you and your family :)
