Meet and greet From Amanda K.
Welcome. I noticed there were no groups for my area so I created one. I hope to meet more parents, share ideas and stories here. Please feel free to introduce yourself and start a discussion.

Hey Amanda,
We are late 20's early 30's parents of a beautiful 14months old little girl Hayden. We are new to the area. We have lived in Glen Burnie for a little bit over a year. We are originally from PA so we have no family or friends here. I am a Kindergarten teacher in PG County. I have friend from work but they all live by DC so it is an inconvenience at time to get together because of the distance. I am looking to get social interaction not only for Hayden but for me also. Chris is away in PA this semester taking some classes at Penn State to try and finish up his degree. So I am basically a single mom at the moment. I am looking for someone to go to a park with, go to each other houses and let the kids play, dinner, zoo, aquarium, walk around the Harbor, etc. Basically, a friend for both of us. If you are interested in meeting please let me know and tell me about your self. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have been thinking a lot about Halloween, since it's right around the corner. What kind of candy do you like to give out? What do you like your kids to eat? I like to have Snickers and Sweetarts, but for the younger kids I also like to have on hand Animal crackers.

I like to give out a variety of things...I get chocolate, gummy treats, popcorn balls, Halloween pretzel and juice boxes and let the kids choose which one they want. My daughter is only 1 so I don't let her eat any candy.
