I would like to start a walking group for parents with stroller age kids. I love to take my daughter for walks in the park (Minto Brown Park, Riverfront Park, etc) and thought it would be fun to have some buddies!

Group Walk From Kristina S.

Hi! I just wanted to give a few more details about my hope for this walking group: I don't expect people to come every week, but I will be at a set location every week. I want to use parks that have paved trails as well as a playground the kids can play at after the walk. If you have suggestions on where to go please share. I hope as Spring gets closer and the weather gets better people will be excited to get back outside and I'm hoping this will be a fun way to maybe make some new friends and (hopefully) shed a few winter pounds!

Due to lack if response and and the likelihood of rain tomorrow, I am postponing the first Group Walk for two weeks. I'm hoping by the middle of April the weather will start to dry up a little and allow for outdoor activities. The new start date for the Group Walk will be Friday March 18th.

I just checked the weather report for the weekend and it says 64 and sunny for Friday!! Woo hoo!!! Perfect walking weather!!

I'll be in from of the Carousal House at Water Front Park in downtown this Friday (April 1) at 11:30am. If anyone would like to join me, I would love the company!!

Hi all! I need to change the time for walking group just this week to 10:30. If that works lets meet at Riverfront Park again in front of the carousal house at 10:30. Please let me know if this wont work for some of you! Otherwise I hope to see you tomorrow!!

Group Walk Friday 4/29 From Kristina S.

Just wanted to let everyone know there will be no group walk on Friday the 29th. I'm hoping the trail at Minto Brown Island Park will be dry by next week so hopefully we can walk there. I'll keep you all posted!
