Hello everyone, I started this group because there was only one group in the area..and the members didn't seem to be active. Even though I am not great at socializing and meeting new people, I wanted to start a group that would actually meet. I will start the meetings on March 29th, between 11-1 (central time), and we can meet weekly after that. Hopefully, with so many military families in the area, there will be plenty of people who want to participate! The first meeting (March 29th) will be at the Killeen Park (W. S. Young) near the playground area (if the weather permits). After we have enough stable members to the group, I would like to move our meetings to other places, such as chuck-e-cheese (or other facilities). I am certainly open to suggestions! Hi, I'm Stephanie. 22 years old. Been at Ft. Hood for a year now. My husband is currently deployed so we are living in San Antonio but we do still make drives out to Killeen. With homecoming around the corner we are also starting to plan our move back. Our son will be 16 months old in 4 days. He's very active. And shy =) I am looking forward to meeting new people for both me and our son. Now I am shy so I promise I'm not being rude if I seem a little distant.

I am new to this thing. My Husband is leaving for Iraq on the 19th. I am just looking for some friends. I have a 9 month old and would love to meet with you guys. Where do you guys meet?

Hello Sarah, sorry for the delayed response. We havent actually met yet. Stephanie is not in town yet (i believe) and I am out of town at the moment. I should be back in town next week though (Apr 19th?) Let me know if you still want to meet up and hang out.

Hello Deanna; We've just been playing it by ear so far. We met at the Bronco Youth Center Park last week and it seemed to work out well! I think we should try that again.
