Farmer's Markets! From Megan F.
I'm a little bummed that we missed the opening day of the Farmer's Market in Jeffersonville. It was this past Saturday - I had a toy party. BUT, we'll bet there this Saturday for sure!
It's on the corner of Chestnut and Locust... A few items available at the market: strawberries, eggs, hamburger, pea pods, lettuce, kale, hummus, baked goods, herb plants like peppermint, chives, dill, and sweet basil, and hanging baskets, chicken, goat, lamb, mutton, quail, turkey, cornish hens, mushrooms, honey, dried liver dog treats, and cut flowers. Located at Chestnut & Locust (next to Wall Street Church and catty-cornered from St. Augustine Church). Opens at 9am, closes at noon.

Hi, I am going to be moving to Tell City Indiana at the end of July and I am a SAHM with a 13 month old daughter. We are moving from Findlay, Ohio and I am sad to leave my playgroup behind. I am hoping to meet some new friends for my daughter and myself. I look forward to hopefully creating some new playgroup events that are in the Tell City area ( I dont know the area, so I may need some help) and meeting new people!
replyI live in Jeffersonville, IN. It's about 1.5 hours from Tell City. And, I'm not 100% sure where everyone else in this group lives. A few of us are in Louisville, KY - which is a few minutes South of me.
Anyhow, we will keep you posted on outings we plan, maybe we can all come up with someplace halfway between us!

Finally ready to play From Jenneffer B.
Goodness!! It's been a BUSY month for us, as we've had my nephew here for a month and a half of summer vacation but things are going to be slowing down. I'm a little worried about Taylor (my 21 month old daughter) missing her cousin when he leaves and i'm sure she'll be feeling lonely once he's gone (he leaves this weekend) :( . I'd like to get together with a couple of you and your babies soon so if anyone has any ideas let me know. Also Taylor's 2nd birthday is in November an I'm starting to plan that so I would definitely like her to have some friends to invite!
