Well since people are starting to join, how about everyone tell something about themselves and your kiddos? =]

I'm Veronica, I recently moved to Fresno back in march. My husband joined us once he was out of the army in may. I have a boy, hes 3 right now but will be 4 on halloween. Hes a lonely kid, we've never lived one place more than 6 months so its hard for him to have friends. Were here in fresno to stay for atleast a couple years. So i think nows the time! He's a good kid, just way to much energy and imagination to be alone. Anyways, Hope to hear from someone. Thanks.

Hello! I'm Danielle. Our family just moved here in August and our kiddo is 16 months old this month. I'm looking for play groups for him as well as for me. I'd love to meet new friends here in Fresno because I have as few as the baby lol.

We do enjoy going to the Fashion Fair mall and playing in the play area. Which I think would be a good play date for the kids during the week. Weekends are toooo busy. Sometimes we take him up there right around 7pm to get all the energy out before bed at 8. We live right down the street from the mall.

I'd also be interested in meeting up at parks for picnic lunches with the kids. He loves to swing.

Just some ideas! Hope we all meet up soon.

I tried taking my son to the Fashion Fair play area. There was so many kids he got so pumped up, he wouldn't calm down so we had to leave. But we like parks. Usually a lot of space for running and what not. But I'm up to try anything. Oh and, I would love some friends myself!

Playgrounds From Danielle E.

I know y'all are as new to the area as I am but I was wondering if anyone found any playgrounds in Fresno with baby swings?? My kiddo loves to swing but all the playgrounds I've seen near me don't even have swing sets!

Im pretty sure the figgarden park has them they has 2 i believe and they also have the water in the summer a very clean park too !!

Does anyone know when Trick or Treat is in Fresno this yr???

Hi Danielle,
So far I have heard a few different times but the majority say 6-8pm.
Also there are a few events I know of for the littler guys. From 4 to 6 p.m. throughout the Tower District ( Olive Ave.) they hand out goodies to the kids and there are usually some hilarious people in very unique costumes. If you have never been its totally worth it. Also the fashion fair mall from noon to 2p.m. they let the kids trick or treat from store to store. Its O.K but it goes fast. And at the Sierra Vista mall in Clovis (which is wayyyyyyyyy better, they do the same kinda thing from 2-4p.m. As far as the regular door to door, I say if you can, start at 6 or 6:30 p.m. and you will be safe. And if you only have a little bitty, I say everybody loves to see them so any time is probably fine....lol Ok well I hope that helps a bit.

I think we are going to try to hit up Fashion Fair and Sierra Vista today if the lil man is up to it.
