About Deanna Romito

Deanna Romito is an elementary teacher, educational writer, and mother of two. Her 10 years of teaching experience at the primary and intermediate levels has allowed her to learn about and implement the latest research and best practices in education. She has taught in both a traditional classroom setting as well as in a team-teaching integrated classroom. She continues to learn about those topics that interest her most, including technology in the classroom, differentiated instruction, and behavior management. As a mother of an infant and toddler, she is always learning about strategies in early childhood education and uses those strategies daily at home. She believes strongly in empowering children to become self-motivated to learn.

She hopes to share her love of educating children and be a positive influence from all sides of education.
